nop this board do not support the Core 2 Duo let alone the Core 2 Quad

Hello,

I found an ECS p4m800pro-m v1.0a Intel 775 motherboard which by some miracle works. I was wondering if I threw a Core 2 Quad Q6600 in it, would it run?

I think it might work but I'm not sure.

Please help, where else could I ask this question to get a response

The website says it supports the pentium 4 and pentium d, so it will most likely not support any of the c2q processors.

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
