PS3 GTA V Freezing

Ok I've given up finding a solution, I've tried many a things to make it work. . . . 

 

Lense cleaner, opened up PS3 and cleaned dust out, removed lots of stuff from HDD (there's about 20 GB left with the game installed) . . re-installed, played disconnected, but every so often it just freezes, and is very frustrating. Is anyone else having this issue? It is PS3 slim

well, after it freezes, it works again or you have to restart/ eject the dvd?

no it's proper freezed, need to turn PS3 off n back on

It might be that your file system is damaged.

 

Here's an article about restoring the file system and database. Please read the whole thing to avoid deleting all your data. HINT:Don't click restore PS3.

 

I used to crash all the time, but now I try and do this at least once a month to maintain the file system integrity. It may not be the problem with you ps3 but it worth a shot.
