Why are you looking in your CBS log? Is something wrong with your computer that you knew of before? If not, don't worry about the log.

The error log you provided is related top OpenCL, something of 0 relation to your problem.

You can't create a folder, because you set or someone set permissions to block that. Change your permissions.

If no permission was ever set, then it is the drive or USB to SATA controller that is broken, and is unable to write, so Windows thinks it is a permission problem, and not the fact that the drive or a component in between (such as a bad cable, or broken USB to SATA converter board inside the drive enclosure) is broken. It can't know, because the technology doesn't allow the OS to know, then again, this is why your USB drive doesn't cost thousands of dollars.

I don't think people know. It is a very Windows centric forum.

But you may want to update your title of your post and body to make it clear that the problem is that you are trying to access a MacOS made drive.

Windows supports only the following formats:

 -> NTFS

 -> exFAT

 -> FAT32

By default, Apple uses HFS+ format.

Windows doesn't support HFS+ as it propitiatory to Apple, much like NTFS is for Microsoft.

If it is indeed formatted as HFS+, you can get this software to add HFS+ capabilities to Windows.
