So, as you might know, I've posted a rumor about the GTX 1050 and GT 1040 which you can check out right here. But now, I'm going to share some rumored specs on mobile Pascal cards.

First off, here's the GTX 1080M. It's using the Pascal 16nm GP104 processor clocked at 1600MHz (boost 1700). It has 8GB of video buffer (256bit) and 2560 CUDA cores.

Now, let's talk about the GTX 1070M. It's the same GP104, but with less CUDA cores (1792). It's clocked at 1100MHz (boost 1150) and it has 6GB of 192bit video buffer.

There will also be the GTX 1060M with 4GB of video buffer and 1280 cores, and the GTX 1050M with 2GB of video buffer and 1024 cores. These two cards share a GP106 GPU.

why is the 1080M base/boost clock the same as the gtx 1080 ?

It literally will have the same TDP as the 1080. And laptops already have a hard time with the 980's 160W TDP , let alone 180W

AMD Ryzen R7 1700 (3.8ghz) w/ NH-D14, EVGA RTX 2080 XC (stock), 4*4GB DDR4 3000MT/s RAM, Gigabyte AB350-Gaming-3 MB, CX750M PSU, 1.5TB SDD + 7TB HDD, Phanteks enthoo pro case
