internet speed

I have a TP link ,obviously a wired connection is faster than a wireless connection, but compared to my phone i dont get as fast a speed as i do on my phone. The TP link (socket wired internet thing) seems to be slower than the wireless connection. 

does anyone know how i speed up the wired connection?

Check for kinks in the ethernet cable.

What is your internet speed? If your internet speeds are higher than 100mbps then unless your router/switch has gigabit ports with you also having cat 5e (and better cables) and a gigabit NIC on your PC then that could be the reason for slower internet speeds  as AC can handle upto "1.6gbps" of data...(which in real world terms, it can't but still more than 100mbps so...yeah)
