Hello everyone,

As you can see I do not currently own a UPS. I mainly use this computer for some light gaming and entertainment, so I'll never have any unsaved data that I'll be worried about. My question is that when the power goes out and the computer suddenly shuts down, is that going to harm my system? Do I have to get a UPS? If possible I would like to avoid any extra expenditure as this build costed me quite a bit. Any thoughts are welcome>>

It's never a bad idea but if you often get power outages or brownouts in the area it's not a bad investment to protect from data loss including hardware.
