The layout of the main Forums page

Jumper118

In the last forum update they change the order of the forums around and this has been bugging me for a while. I know some thing has to be at the bottom, but i think some things need to be changed round.

The main problem i have is the placement of off topic and the guides and tutorials section. I think we are getting a lot of questions on how to do things in the main hardware sections about topics that people have spent a lot of time and effort making a guide for, but due to it being at the bottom they tend not to look that far down the page, i can imagine its even further down for most people than it is for me if they're re running a 1080p monitor. I have seen increased number of these topics and some of the threads i was am following, which were very active have now died, even though people are making topics on the same subject.

As for the off topic section. I know its a popular section and lots of people do post in there, but i find it strange how it is positioned 3rd from the top in the community hub, when it is for none tech related things and it doesnt contribute many helpful things to the forum, even though it is much better regulated than it was before when it was just a spam/shit post section.

Also, this dosen't really annoy me much, but it may save a bit of work for the mods- the General discussions section is right at the top and newbs don't seem to bother looking up the other sub forums and just dump any questions in the first forum on the listing, this leads to probably ~50% of the topics needing to be moved by the mods and it also means topics that do belong in that section get pushed down much faster than they should do, so maybe that should be moved a bit lower down.
