Hi guys!

I'm looking to start streaming podcasts with a couple of my friends in a similar style to that of the WAN Show and Awesome Hardware (Kyle and Paul). After some research I've found what I want in a camera for this;

- clean HDMI out

- video at 1080p (preferably 60fps, but 30 is fine)

- decent battery life, around 2 hours of recording time

I'm not sure what cameras would meet these requirements best, especially given my budget (around 200USD preferably, a little more is fine). We already have a capture card (an Elgato HD60), microphone (I have a Yeti Pro and my friend a Blue Snowball) and computers capable of encoding and streaming video. I plan on using OBS as my stream software, but if any other software works better I'm more than happy to give it a try.

Also any general streaming advice would be appreciated. I've already been doing YouTube for a few years on and off, and now that me and my mates are out of high school we have more time to do this sorta stuff. Starting a fresh channel for this, kind of a new stage of my life.

Much appreciated guys!

Many camcorders and DSLRs have ways you can power them from the mains, normally using dummy batteries - this is a better solution than relying on battery power since you can just leave the camera set up powered by mains

The Elgato should be fine and OBS is fine too
