Hey,

I am helping a friend with their PC and I have noticed that his disk usage spikes to 100% every 30 secs or so.

Mine doesn't do this and I have multiple programs open whereas he has none and nothing on the system tray.

How do I stop these spikes?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Smiffy

unless these spikes are effecting performance, i wouldn't worry

but if would help if you run crystaldiskinfo to diagnose any drive specific issues

some kind of malware disguised as a small file. when opened it raises havoc and fills the drive. it's called some kind of "bomb", literally. but I can't remember what.... and it isn't "logic". and it does migrate from disc to disc even if another drive or that drive is installed in tandem on another machine.
