Hello guys,

just today I got my Modmic 4.0. On my Alienware 15 Notebook it works fine, but on my Tower PC I do not get any sound.

Hope you guys have any idea what I could do. I already reinstalled the drivers, switched to microsoft standard drivers, tryed line in instead of mic in port.

I ma using a Maximus V Gene.

Thanks in advance

Lets start with the basics. Is it in the right port? PCs usually have one for audio and one for mic. Next check from the recording devices tab if its set to be the default device, if you cant see it the right click and click "show disabled devices". If you cant see it at all in then try another device in the same port if you have one and see if its appearing there either.
