Can't decide what phone to get. Help me?

So I'm trying to decide between a few different phones. I'm currently looking at the Nexus 6p and the LG G5 and I'm currently with sprint. Any pros and cons to either that I should know about or any suggestions on phones I should get.  If it helps I currently have the LG G3.

In December or January he did "phone awards" where he mentioned every flagship for year 2015.

Ill have to look up that video.  I've had my G3 since launch and I really feel behind on current tech.

I've got the G3 - nothing wrong with it - keep it - for me there is nothing out there that warrants me spending x amount on a new phone there just isn't enough innovation at the moment G5 doesn't interest me its too damn ugly

I love my G3 but it just has a few issues that have been resolved on newer phones

Like what? Please enlighten me. Please make it something that can't be sorted by a simply factory wipe...

Battery life is pretty awful. I've done factory resets and tried new batteries and its still the same. Also My G3 gets really hot when charging and sometimes during use even after resets.
