i forgot the part where I installed the game when it was new. it played bad ( origin to blame ) , put it away until today.

the origin password takes and I can get to my games, but when you select play it connects through IE. I'm on 9 on this machine. Wonder if that's a problem?

Internet Explorer 9 you mean? Yeah, that could be a problem, considering most web developers don't bother with anything lower than IE11 these days.

You might need to install some plugin for IE too, in order to get the server browser running.

(Because it makes sense that you need Origin, to install a game, to install a plugin, to run said plugin in a web browser, just to launch a game.)

kirashi you're making me sick.... LOL............ I have another EA game that I had running around the same time frame.... Crysis2. I'll load that on a more modern pc ( W7 ) sometime over the weekend and see if that helps any. But I will go out of my way to avoid anymore EA Origin games. Not worth the fucking hassle just to play a stupid game.
