OK so I just got done building my Gaming right, it has:

FX 8350

16GB RAM DDR3 1866 (DUAL channel)

R7 370 4G EDITION

970A SLI KRAIT MOBO

212 HYPERX FAN

1TB HDD

1X OPTICAL DRIVE

However, before buying Windows 10 for $119 I tried the pirated version to make sure that everything was working however whenever I play games a crashes and gives me a graphics error such as "Display driver has stopped responding and successfully recovered" and also " [name of game].exe has been blocked from using the graphics Hardware" I also get a couple of blue screens with errors like "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and "BAD_POOL_HEADER" etc. So now I'm convinced that it's because I don't have a legit windows 10, so I am going to buy one from walmart. However, they have two versions, OEM and normal "Home" edition, home is $119 and OEM is $80, I want to get the OEM but I really do not want any errors to pop up, so can anyone please explain (thoroughly) about the diffrence of OEM and it's effect on the motherboard..... remember this build is for gaming and game editing with video editing....

Any help is welcomed.

OEM - Is Original Equipment Manufacturer. That means that if you have any problems with it, you can't go to Microsoft. They will not give you customer service; they will simply tell you to go to your OEM. The OEM carries the responsibility of the product. In this case, you are the OEM, so if you don't feel comfortable fixing any problems you might have with Windows, don't get it. But if you understand how it works and have advanced experience with it, go for it. Along with no customer support, they are also generally sold in bulk which makes it cheaper. Both options carry the same software, but the OEM version only carries the software and not other benefits.

OEM will be locked to mobo and you need to buy another key when changing (for whatever reason). I would recommend getting retail. Also, you can download and install Win10 now and use it for 30-90 days for free. So you don't need some pirated shit to test things out.
