Need a hand with Fallout..

So I'm playing through Far Harbour, and am with the Institute (don't worry no spoilers). I'm currently stuck unable to find a guy I'm meant to talk to, like he doesn't even exist in the world. Is there a way to use the console to complete only one objective? Without completing the whole quest?

You could just wait until it releases on the 19th instead of pirating the leaked beta version.

Eh I'll be paying for it when it's out, just wanted to use it early. Doesn't matter, glitched him in anyway.

You should be able to complete the quest through the command console just like in skyrim. Try finding the right command line on google, but I doubt you can find the NPC's ID (or the quest ID) since the game isn't officially released yet.

Managed to track down the ID thing, had to list all current quests etc. Advancing just broke it, but I figured it out anyway
