Hi!

I'm building a 1200€ (with the exchange rate and difference in prices, it's quite similiar to Canadian Dollars) PC for my friend, with SLI 760, and he doesn't want to spend alot on the case. Since I'm used to building with a higher budget than this, the sort of sub 50€ case market is completely alien to me, which is why i'm here today. Can anyone recommend a midi-tower case that fits this price range, with good thermal capabilities? It would also be nice if it didn't look completely hideous as well, but that's less imporatant ^^.

You should never cheap out on a case. Alot of the time you end up keeping that case for the next build down the line. Try to get an Arc Midi r2 on a great sale or a mini r2. Those nzxt source series cases are nice as well but i still would prefer you to get a nice high airflow case for that setup.

Corsair Carbide 200R is pretty much the lowest you can find with a good layout. I think you can even get the rubber grommets for the cable routing holes seperatley.

But serieously you should think about a GTX 780 instead or even a 770 (or go AMD with teh new cards).

who cares...

^this!

Invest money in your case, you will keep it for the next build. Instead of investing in a $50 case and later invest in a $80 case, get a $100 case the first time. That's why i did for this exact reason.

Hey, you're preaching to the choir... I'm running a 3930k and 3-way SLI under water in a LD PCV8 :P But for his economic situation, the case isn't something he wants to spend alot of money on. That does however not mean that he is going for the cheapest thing that could possibly work, but for a good value case with good cooling features. :)
