Benchmark graphs?

Go to solution Solved by Abhishek sharma,

I recently was editing a new video about my upgrade to a GTX 980 Ti. I was showing pictures of benchmarks I had done in Heaven and Rise of the Tomb Raider. But showing screenshots of scores and numbers isn't very professional looking. So I wanted to know, does anyone know how Linus makes those cool graphs that shows the "higher is better" pictures? What software are they using?

Graphs are done in MS Excel (you can use LibreOffice or OpenOffice or some other free alternative). Then they use Photoshop to make them pretty.

Does it look bad to use direct screen shots of FPS and scores from games and benchmarks?

I'm not quite sure what you mean? If you compare two products (or two set of presets etc.) using pile graphs give more clear look.

If you are (or aim for) any office based work, you will have to use excel or other such software some point. Learning to use it via hobby is better than listening teacher.

you can also use powerpoint and then take a screenshot which will be goodlooking as well.xD

Yeah, but my friend was actually able to make a nice graph for me to put in my video so I'm covered.
