usually play games like The Witcher 3/Fallout 4/Dayz/The Culling

then you might wanna get the 1080Ti, since im assuming you play AAA games on 1080p

the 760 will do fine on medium~high settings though, so it depends on whether you can live with lower graphics quality longer or you wan more :P

personally i would upgrade to 1080Ti if i play AAA games often

I need some advice i am not sure if i should upgrade to the GTX 1080 Ti when it comes out or wait for the Volca architecture as it will probably be a good 30% better again by their estimation charts, btw i am leaning more towards buying the GTX 1080 Ti when it comes out and buy a new 1440p monitor, also would my CPU bottleneck it if i did upgrade?

PC Specs:

CPU - i5 4670K @4.2GHz

Motherboard - Gigabyte G1-Sniper Z5S

GPU - NVIDIA Gigabyte GTX 760 2GB

RAM - 16GB 2133MHz

PSU - 750W

if you can wait, always wait

graphics card will only get better anyway

as for bottlenecking, it depends on the games `-`

If you wait for something better, you will always be waiting. That being said, really depends on if you are feeling the limitations of your current card for your current games; I for example still use a 7950 Boost since I only use a 1080p display and only play certain games that my current card can handle without a problem so I never upgraded.

Thank you all for making up my mind i think i might go for the 1080 ti, as "If you wait for something better, you will always be waiting.", and yeah i do play my AAA games a lot and wouldn't mind being able to play The Witcher 3 on high with good FPS.

Ah two years that was the thing that was making me lean towards the 1080 Ti but as Shura said and i will quote again "If you wait for something better, you will always be waiting." but thanks anyway :D
