GTA V stutters

i been playing GTA V and i get around 60-70 fps but randomly it drops down to 40 and under  when changing location or pressing esc key to go into the map. i have a GTX 980 and i5 4670k with 16gb DRR 3 temps and clock speeds are fine is their a way to make the game run smother?

idk do you run a lot of background stuff that eats up your ram while playing.

Set these settings in Nvidia control panel gave me quite a big FPS boost

My ram is 8gb used and my cpu is pinned ay 100%

No, its no Issue from your Side. Its normal behavior of GTA5.
