Hi,

I have this slim-line notebook DVD drive which has some port on it that I do not recognize, if this could be made clear to me as to what it is, that would be perfect.

I intend to use it in my current project (making a slim Xbox) to replace the original thick and clunky Xbox DVD drive. Any help would be perfect, it is pictured below:

I'd say some sort of mini-IDE, afaik

It is a Slim-ATAPI connector.

I'm pretty sure the original xbox does not support sata... (I took one apart once, but that was a LONG time ago...)
