Intel 750 Series 1.2TB SSD not being read by BIOS

Hey,

 

So, recently, my computer freezed and I had to restart it. After the restart, my SSD wasn't being showed up in the BIOS. I updated my BIOS to the latest version, cleared my CMOS, and still nothing; it's not being shown up. What should I do? Please, help me.

Does the SSD host Windows? If so, it's not dead. But, I'd say to just take it out the M.2 or the PCIE slot, and completely shut off your computer, power supply switch and everything. If that doesn't work, I don't know.

Yes, the SSD does host windows. So I should just disconnect the SSD from the m.2 slot and leave the hyper kit (it was a pain to install) or should I remove everything?

Disconnect just the SSD and turn off your power supply. Wait and see if that helps.

Will do. How long should I wait? Should I go to the bios without the SSD connected, turn it back off, then connect it back again and turn it on with the SSD?

30 minutes tops. I'd say connect the SSD back, turn on the power supply, and boot into the BIOS. Hope it helps.

How do you have the SSD connected to you computer? Is it taking up a PCIe slot? Do you have space to move it around in your case on other slots? As the guys suggested, letting the system stay without power for some time may fix the issue. Trying the SSD on another system can also help figuring out if the problem is coming from the SSD or from the system itself.
