What is the best glass to get for a NZXT H440? I want to go tempered glass but its really expensive. Where is the cheapest place to get a 11 x 16" piece of glass, or should I just buy a picture frame? (Is tempered glass really worth it?)

Tempered glass is more of a safety thing cause it shatter it won't easily cut you since it breaks into little cubes or squares compared to regular glass, but in general as long as you are careful regular window glass will work. For glass going to a local glass or window shop and getting it cut is your best option as it's not very expensive and they can do it to any size you need.

Have you considered plexiglass?

Is plexiglass easily scratchable? And is it cheap?

The reason why Im asking about tempered is that my Acrylic panel is super scratched, and the whole point is to make it much less easy to scratch

Plexi-glass or acrylic is basically plastic so it can be scratched but are usually more resistant to them than the original window. As for glass if you can get a hold of some a glass cutter isn't very expensive and as long as your cutting straight sections it's quite easy.

Kinda easy to scratch, but extremely cheap.

Glass is typically cheaper than acrylic and polycarbonate.

No hardware stores nearby? They usually have it. I live near a town of 200 population and they have a store that sells glass...

I'm sure it can be found cheaper, this was just the first thing that popped up for $20.

Keep in mind that it is NOT possible to cut down tempered glass, it will shatter.

I have a Ace Hardware nearby that might have some. I'll have to check
