Hi! I'm well, thanks.

Based on your budget and the fact that we're waiting for the new generation of GPUs, this is what I would get. The CXM PSU linked is great bang for buck at this price, and the new grey sticker platform of the CX is quite a bit better than the old one.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor  (£99.98 @ Novatech)
Motherboard: Asus H110M-K Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  (£46.99 @ Amazon UK)
Memory: Kingston FURY 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory  (£25.84 @ Novatech)
Power Supply: Corsair CXM 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  (£47.94 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £220.75
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Then as soon as you can put together £200, you can upgrade your graphics with an amazing performance/price thanks to the new architectures.

Hi Guys, Hope you are well?

I'm thinking about upgrading some components in my computer next month (after payday anyway) and would like to see what you guys think I should do?

Current System

CPU = AMD FX-8320

CPU Cooler = ZALMAN CNPS10X OPTIMA

M/Board = Asus M5A97 LE R2.0
Memory = 4x 4GB  Corsair Vengeance (1600 Mhz)

GPU = MSI GT730 4GB (Crappy I know)

OS HD = Kingston 240Gb SSD (I have 4 more HDD's for other stuff)

Case = Cooler master Elite 340

I would like to get the following:

New GPU

New Case

New PSU

and look at the possibilities of water cooling

I have about £250 to spend, so hopefully you guys can help?

Well I am, thank you ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I'll go first by saying that, due to the 1000 series launch later this month you will probably want to wait on the GPU, the 1070 is going to bring higher end cards into your price range. You might want to aim for a 960 or higher when they release.

Secondly, I'm not particularly well versed on mid-range power supplies; heres a corsair offering: https://www.alza.co.uk/corsair-cx500-d380167.htm?kampan=adeu_uk-pla_produkty&gclid=Cj0KEQjw9tW5BRDk29KDnqWu4fMBEiQAKj7sp7DWPrWYCZl94RUQJe3CceetSQYd1WC3Olz4N9RrOUgaAgEP8P8HAQ

Thirdly: want a solid case? http://www.cclonline.com/product/164482/FD-CA-DEF-R5-BK/Cases/Fractal-Design-Define-R5-Computer-Case-Black-with-USB-3-0/CAS1662/?gclid=Cj0KEQjw9tW5BRDk29KDnqWu4fMBEiQAKj7sp9Nme7J11Z5gEAwXdkG0CxPGj9leHeH9xODcR23JgLEaAgX78P8HAQ
