Hey guys, hope your having a wonderful day.

So i need to build a new PC for everyday use. Here is what i need.

Budget: $1500 US Dollars, the budget is flexibleI also would like it to be

Location: California, US.

Aim: Homework, Browsing, Gaming[ Minecraft with 50+ mods, Planetside 2, TF2], light editing

Monitor: Need One please. Doesnt need to be a over the top monitor, just needs to be 1080p

OS: Need one, Windows 8 please

Peripherals: Need a mouse and keyboard. Cherry MX Red please

Why?: I need a new PC.

I would also like it to be micro-atx. A Corsair 350D fits perfectly where i wanted this pc to be.

Thanks for the help guys, ask questions if you need some extra info.

P.S: i lean towards intel for CPU's and AMD and GPU's. Nvidia doesn't give free games like AMD, and I love free :)

P.S.S I don't need the system now. I heard than AMD is releasing a new line of graphics cards, so I can wait for them.

Here you go: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1HgXA

Remove all stock fans. Replace 212 Evo's fans with Sickleflow. 1 Sickleflow for rear exhaust. 2 Prolimatehc Pros for front intake.

Keep stock fans for whenever you might need them in the future.

That was fast, but I still have 1 question.

Would raising the budget by $200-500 help make the system faster? If it gives me a serious performance boost, I am willing to pay the extra money.

The build I suggested will already max out almost everything at 1080p. If you have any extra money, I suggest saving up for an upgrade when you need one. You won't get much better without paying for a worse value atm.

Go with woodenmarler's build but get a better SSD since the one he suggests is very bad and low storage imho, better get some samsung 840 120gb.

And you can always get better GPU or wait for new radeons to come out.

Don't even consider amd processors for planetside 2 or you will be very disappointed with the performance since that is a cpu bound game.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

How's the ssd I suggest 'very bad'? Why would you recommend against 120GB of storage when you just recommended a 840 120GB yourself?

It's sandforce which is very short lived. I misread and thought it was 60gb. Nonetheless plextor m5s would be best because of the quality.

Sandforce is not as bad as it once was. For all intensive purposes, the ssdnow v300 will feel the same as a samsung 840.

So the Arc Mini R2 just came out, I think I'm going to buy that instead of the 350D. I loved the Arc Midi R2 but was too big, but now I can get it in the size I want. I think it's only a $5 price difference against the 350D.

In that case, just get 4 sickleflows then--1 each for rear exhaust and the 212 Evo, and 2 for front intake.

Didn't Planetside 2 re-optimized for multi-threading support recently so that it would probably be ok?
