Hi, so I just bought a mouse for CSGO I wanted a good mouse as my last $5 mouse wasn't cutting it I could actually feel the delay, and sure this one is a lot better but.... Okay so I picked this mouse as I got a good recommendation for it so I got it. I asked my friend this doesn't have acceleration does it, he was like "don't be silly windows adds the acceleration so he showed me after how to disable it, and it seemed to work" but then I read online that it has also got 20g acceleration on the cooler master website and now I am like WHAT!? there is more? I just want to get rid of acceleration all together, do I need to get a new mouse ooorrr what?

20g acceleration means it can handle the speed change of 20g's. that's literally meaningless.

to test acceleration you should do a simple test.

works anywhere, just set up a distance and move your mouse slowly and then fast, if it ends up the same place there is no acceleration, if it overshoots the target there is positive acceleration, if it doesn't quite make it to the target there is negative acceleration.

You know any acceleration tests? Also, why whenever I see your post is your profile picture a different cat?

yes, go into any game and move the mouse.

i only had like two cats. so I don't know.

Okay, if I shake it as hard as I possibly can (which actually aches my arm) it finally only just starts to look at the floor and well.. spaz.

that doesn't mean anything either, that's just shitty sensor things.

acceleration tests distance traveled in a movement. if you move fast with acceleration enabled it goes further, with it disabled speed makes no difference.

It didn't change the location when doing a swipe across my whole mat when 2 different speeds.

then there is no acceleration or it's hard to notice, either way it's fine.

Also is there a way of finding my DPI for the first setting, in the advert it says it can go up to 4000DPI but there is nothing about what each different setting is.

I am currently on the 2nd setting, it's red.
