I'm building my first desktop PC, and I am putting Windows 8 on it so I need a good, cheapish touchscreen monitor.

These are my specs so far. http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/2J330J1Q665VJ/ref=topnav_lists_2

I don't think the VelociRaptor is worth it. NAS drives are meant to generally be used for NAS / RAID arrays.

I would just recommend a 7200 RPM drive.

Let me look and see if those Dell touch screens are still cheap. Price range?

1. Get a better mouse. Logitech G500.

2. Lower wattage PSU. That one is extreme overkill.

3. Don't buy a NAS drive and 2 Velociraptors. Buy a damn 4TB WD Black.

4. Get a Windforce GTX 770. Cheaper and just as good.

5. Pull the single Noctua.

6. Get a 250GB 840 EVO instead of a Vertex 3.

7. Get an FX-8320. Cheaper and performs better.

I should point out, I already have the Agility 3 (I got two of them for the price of 1), and I also already have the AMD FX 8150. I want the Velociraptor for screen capping so it writes faster and I have the 2TB red to store the video after I am done recording. The 2 Vertex 3's are going to be RAID 0, too. And I have another question, after I raid 0 the SSD's can I raid 1 with the two SSD's and the 2TB WD Red? I am still a noob here.

Looks good to me (as you have an SSD).

I don't get the 10000RPM HDD, or the W.D Red. Just get a 1TB W.D Black (or 2TB). Get Blue if it doesn't fit your budget.

I know nothing about the mouse, look cheap and crappy, but ok.

As for your touch screen, you don't need a touch screen for Windows 8. I use it on my laptop and desktop without one. Takes about 1 month to get used to, and learning it, after that it's breeze to use.

But if you insists:

What I don't like about current touch screen's for desktop, is that none of them (beside the Wacom Cintiq), can go over your keyboard. So you can't bring it close to you, without moving the keyboard away, or requires you to stretch your arm and then it's not comfortable.
