I wasn't quite sure where to post this so please do excuse me if this is in the wrong place.

The Pascal GPU's aren't out yet. But you are very likely to be fine.

Please wait until after benchmarks drop before making any decisions, as the GTX 970 is still a good card.

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I just finished talking to a friend about seeing benchmarks first, so I plan to. I just wanted to make sure it was even a possibility for me.

If anything, look towards people selling 980, 980ti's for cheap.

If nvidia can be believed though, it should be a nice upgrade even from 970 SLI since apparently just a single 1080 will outclass even 980 SLI

but yeah, wait for proof :)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
