hello,

i cleaned my pc this afternoon but when i came back and wanded to play some games with it, it had a infenite bootscreen.

can anybody tell me what to do? (i am from holland)

It might have just frozen on boot. Did you try a hard reset? If that didn't work, run memtest32.

Pull the plug(hold power button 6 sec) try again and report here.

You can also try to role back to a restore point by booting in to the recovery mode. Step 4 here : http://www.digitalcitizen.life/4-ways-boot-safe-mode-windows-10

or just force reboot it a couple of times and windows will since a problem and boot in to recovery mode then role back to you closest restore point.

i would try reinstalling windows first. That is if you dont have anything on the dive you need to save. Are you on a SDD or HDD

What we mean by hard reset would be to hold the power button until it turn off. Possibly pull the power cable and hold the power button 10 sec or so to drain the board of all its power.

double check all the cables. Maybe even disconnect and reconnect everything. Is there any ticking coming from the drive?

No. Reconected everything and no ticking noises. I hope somebody/anybody can save my files

Do you have another desktop you can put the drive in as a secondary to attempt to read the files?

Alternately do you have a spare HDD to install windows to test the rest of the hardware? You need a 20G+ HDD to install Win10.

I dont have a second computer. I am going to find another hard drive. Put win10 on there, boot priorety that one and take all of the important files of it. I think it should work

I think so as well. Your drive is probably getting unrecoverable sector errors on its SMART status. If a new drive gets you in to windows, download crystal disk and check your drives SMART status to conferm and give you 100% confidence it was a bad drive that caused all your problems.

Dont forget to grab your games, they will transfer. Some work arounds (repair the game or adding shortcuts) my be needed. If you have slow internet like I do the thought of re-downloading everything is horrifying.

I highly suggest you get an SSD, if you can afford one that will hold all your games. Its a night and day difference. Just a small one to hold windows helps a lot also.
