RAM/CPU?MOBO Questions

IS it a bad idea to run 1 8GB stick of DDR4 in a ASUS Sabertooth TUF Z170 board with a 6700K so I can save a little money so I can get Skylake sooner?

Nah. Going for MAX OC potential. Plus it looks nice. Just wondering if I could live off of 1 8Gb stick for like a month

Its the board im getting. Just need to know if 1 8GB stick will work for a month

Unless you need more than 8GBs, you won't notice the speed difference.

Have a look at asrock boards. I have sabertooth myself it will work fine but is not worth it imo .. just remember get same stick next month.

Yeah, the exact same RAM module that you bought (frecuency, CAS, etc...) Just to avoid issues.
