Hi there,

I was recently looking at the Oculus Rift recommended spec's, and I then looked at mine. I know that my graphics card isn't up to the job however I was wondering about my CPU. They are not the same, in fact mine is a little worse, but could my PC (giving I have 980) run the oculus rift?

Just wondering,

Tom

What's your CPU? You can usually take the CPU requirements with a grain of salt. For instance, Fallout 4 specifies an Intel Core i5-2300 requirement, but my computer's Intel Core i3-6100 runs it just fine on high settings. This CPU also passes Steam's VR test.

I meant to say i5-4460, sorry.

Not a problem, I'd wait for Polaris and then since Pascal is coming out end of May/June, I would consider what Polaris has and go from there in picking a newer graphics card.
