Best cheap laptop

So at my school we need to have an iPad to work, I currently use and iPad 2 that is about 3 years old and extremely slow so I need a new laptop or and iPad but I would much rather the laptop, it needs to boot fast, be thin and light and be cheap

 

 

Any suggestions

Chromebooks are a great place to start, and quite cheap. 

Though if you need Windows for compatibility or what have you, the HP Stream Notebook is probably the cheapest you'd want to go.

Yeah I have been looking at the Hp 11 G4 chrome book but it's 2.4kg which would double the weight of my bag, do you know any other good chrome books

The 14" HP Chromebook, though that'd be heavier.

 

There's the Dell Chromebook 13 and 11 again not sure of weight. Lighter would probably be something from Samsung or Acer or Asus.
