Hey Everyone

So Drift Streets Japan , its basically an arcade drifting game , you drift to earn points and when you "bank" those points it turns into cash so you can upgrade your cars and buy new ones

my Idea for this thread (if anyone plays it ) is to share cars and tunes and other DSJ stuff , here is my favourite car to date

20160508024523_1.jpg

So as you can see this is a Nissan S14

it has an LS1 v8 swap in it , all stage 5 power mods except turbo which is stage 1 , if done right it should equal 378hp

Front Camber : -5.9 degrees

Rear camber : -6.2 degrees

Front offset : -16mm

Rear offset : -19mm

This car is good because it has a good balance of power to brakes and control , good all round care , get into the high gears and you can drift for miles if you wanted to , but stay in the low gears and it will change direction relatively quick

im currently working on a review of this game so what out for that :)

Drift Streets Japan on Steam : http://store.steampowered.com/app/412880/ , just in case anyone wants to check it out :)

so what do you think ? :)

Let me know peeps :)

yeah a little bit , tbh it does remind me alot of UG2 thats probably why i play it as much as i do ( look at my money lol ) underground 2 , by far the best arcade racer there has been and Need for speed 2015 should have been UG2 tbh

I just bought this game on Steam because of this thread. I have a control related question. There seems to be no way to customize the controls for my logitech F510. I go to the input tab and click on a control, then push a button on the controller and it doesn't change. Any idea how to fix that? Anyway, here is my car. Currently has an RB26DETT swap, working on getting upgrades.

Spent a little time on the track editor and now have a 763 HP 240SX. Another question about the game. Have you noticed unusually high GPU temps while running this game? I am pushing 75c running this. I am running a Gigabyte Windforce 980ti. No other game I play gets even close to that hot.

Is that all you do in the game? Drift?

temps wise no , BUT the nity engine does work very well on PC so if you have the framerate uncapped it will use ALL of your GPU :)

there is a few known controller issues , you can always try a third part button mapper and see if that works , if you set it up right you can use keyboard pretty well , but i get why you wanna use a controller

Ah, yeah, I don't have vsync enabled. After playing for a while this morning I think I am getting used to the controller set up.
