The damn task bar

Ok, so it seems like it started two days ago, but I have 3 monitors with my rig. Windows never used to do this, but now, whenever I make YouTube, Netflix, etc. Fullscreen to watch videos, I cant click off the display where the video is being shown without the task bar showing up at the bottom. wth? I would not be complaining if Windows always did this, but its only doing it just now. Any idea on how to make it stop? 

 

(restarting has not fixed it)

All I know is that YouTube fullscreen is being really weird after the last update, so that's one possibility.

My search bar also does not work and the start button takes a second to show up. Also, date and time/volume/notifications lag like crazy after startup. All started happening a few days ago.

Derp in my part. I don't think it could be a Win. update becuase the last one happened a month ago and I have not seen one yet.

That would not explain my broken search bar and the fact that it takes about a second for the start menu to appear.

1) If you are using chrome uninstall and reinstall the browser.

2) Windows start menu always takes a bit to appear.

Even if that were true (it was never this slow) Why would my search icon not work?

Do you press escape when you exit out of YouTube or press the "Exit Fullscreen" on YouTube? Also, what is your CPU as I think it MIGHT be a CPU problem with slow load times and freezing but it's very unlikely.

CPU is a 4690k (do people not read signatures) I press the fullscreen button to enter and exit fullscreen videos.

Try using the double press method and the escape button method.

Update*

 

I ran 

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

 

and restarted and everything is back to normal  My troubleshooting skills are amazing xP

Although the taskbar showing up over videos thing is still there. hmmm....
