So, pascal is cool. Really cool. 1080 looks rather good, and I am genuinely intrigued by it this time around, lately launches have been rather dull in my opinion, but my question is, since the internals of the reference cooler looks the same as the old internals (or at least the shape), I wonder if one could mod the card to take an older reference body, like, 980, 980ti, titan x, etc.. Sorry Nvidia, but your cooler is not very appealing to me, and since that seems right up the LTT alley to crack one open first thing, and then 'pop a new cooler on it (or at the very least  try to), I would like to extend that as a request for a video. What is everybody else's opinion on the design?

any idea when the likes of EVGA, ASUS or GYGABYTE get their hands on the new cards for their better looking and performing designs ? Perhaps from past 900 series cards?

you will most likely have to wait 1-2 months after the launch.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

PCB design does differ, but I have seen screw holes that do fit in newer cards so I am curious, I would be liquid cooling anyway. As for DotComBubblegum's question, I remember hearing from some of the tech reviewer guys that were at the event that apparently there would be boards on launch from the board partners, (DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THAT) although they did not mention who would be on release. I would assume the usual major partners though if I had to guess.
