Wow, just wow. I am quite impressed with this beta. The puddles on a wet track are absolutely amazing, Polyphony Digital has yet to replicate that. I have tried some other pc simulators (i.e. AS) and arcade style, but this beta has been nailing it on the entry, moderate, high end and super exotic level. All I can say is that Gran Turismo Sport needs to bring it's A game, obviously a console exclusive can't compete with pc hardware acceleration but it has been providing a better driving simulation.

I've been playing it for the last hour. Frick me. This is what racing games should be! Easily a new benchmark in PC simulators. Xbox version doesn't even come close.

 

It's definitely not perfect. But this level of smoothness at beta? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh

You can download it right now on the Windows store if you have Windows 10.

I haven't played project cars, but this is amazing. I really wish the beta supported racing wheels.

Really like it so far especially how the car drifts away when driving on puddles.
My only problem so far is performance I can run Project Car maxed out without a problem, but not Forza 6 for some reason.

Im so angry right now, Forza 6 is installing to the SSD ffs MS how hard is it to let me chose where to install it

Actually Microsoft lets you change the app installation directory.

Settings -> System -> Storage

way too basic, there was nothing wrong with the original way, where you can pick the exact folder each program gets installed into.....

 

does this work with wheel and pedals?

Installed it and played for about an hour, I kinda liked it but uninstalled it after seeing there was no proper controller settings. 

The wheel turns far to slow for me. Only controller settings I could see was to adjust the deadzone, so screw that.

Game runs fantastic on my 760 and thats about it .... hate the fact i cant use dsr and the game feels so slugish in regards of car control (Pcars is WAAAAAAY better in that) Every car feels like a 18 wheeler or its like driving on ice (atom without TC is a nightmare), Controller options are too basic.
