so i have a compaq computer running 4gb of ram in a 2x2gb configuration, the motherboard only has 2 dimms and I want to know if its possible to put 4gb sticks in instead of 2gb ones. I ran the mr memory utility and it says the max I can get is 2gb sticks. Is it possible to do his or just a mad mans dream?

What mobo do you have?
