Should i replace my PSU?

I have a EVGA supernova 750w g1 and apparently they're not to great. Should i replace it?

Hmmm..rest of your PC specs? if you're not stressing it too much then it should be fine but in terms of quality of the PSU, it's inline with the old (green labeled) CX PSUs ...

Have you had any issues with it? If not i wouldnt bother. 

 

However if its brand new, and not too much of a hassle, might as well replace it . Its a gamble honestly. Ive seen people use the cheap PSUs that come with a 30 dollar case for years and have no problems. In another case, a silverstone decided to conk out and take the GPU along with it.

It's much, much better quality than a CX, it's just a mediocre performer when the GS/GQ/G2/B2 are considered

Whoops, wrong word, has better components but performs as well as the CX (i.e. voltage regulation, ripple ect.)...or that's what I though it was...

 

(p.s. your signature is wrong, although I hate them for releasing it, I can see why they launched that line of PSUs (although for $5 more, you can get one of their good PSUs so...))

Ah, I'll write it in. It's in the PSU whitelist but I'll edit it. The XT is still a mediocre unit

Yah, they are okay, could be better but it's not bad for the price they are selling it for.

I have one from an older build. It still works. When it comes to power supplies, that really is the primary concern: It works. When that is no longer true, I'll get a new one.  But not before.
