Is ESD a bigger problem with older or newer parts? Also, Linus said you can plug your Anti-Electo Satic Wrist band into the wall. Which part of the wall as I don't know how the wiring works for New York. Probably going to ground myself using a PSU as it's much safer but I want to tell my science teacher who's done some PC upgrading before.

I don't recommend it but I got away with having my motherboard on a carpet.

Same story with me sorta, I got away countless of times with just putting stuff like a 980 ti or my motherboard on my lap while working on it (with the PCB parts and I wasn't wearing anti ESD pants or whatever).

Someone once said: "Having a rollercoaster on a PC would be epic"

So threw a rollercoaster on my K'nex PC: Project Dragon Khan- K'nex rollercoaster PC build
