What makes you think a 120mm AIO better than the U14S?

The Noctua cooler is way better than the crappy H60.

What? NH-D15 beats some of popular 240mm AIO in temps or similar temp at lower sound. You should never go 120mm AIO because air cooler at same price will perform much better unless your case/motherboard cant support that air cooler.

This. The NH-D15 is a very good air cooler, it performs on par with H100i GTX while being cheaper.

It will handle anything your CPU can handle. Temps will be on hotter side ofc when you go for higher clocks/volts. But you won't overheat. Among the best performing and less noisy 140mm single towers. There are other good ones with lower price point from be Quiet! and Cryorig. But I'm really happy with my U14S.

I have a spec 03 so NH d15 isnt an option and 240mm AIOs will be such a hassle in installing.

unless I'm looking at the wrong thing the spec 03 won't fit the u14s, 8mm to narrow

You are correct. Max height for CPU cooler in Spec 03 is 157mm. U14S would be 163mm. U12S is also too tall with 158mm. If I remember right, so would 212 Evo with 158.5mm.
