Hahahah, was more thinking of what country you were from :)

You can get a couple of single cards that will outperform your 670 by miles(they cost less than 500 as well)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127872&cm_re=390x-_-14-127-872-_-Product

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125696&cm_re=980-_-14-125-696-_-Product

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150754&cm_re=r9_fury-_-14-150-754-_-Product'

Performance wise the r9 nano is the best performer. The 390x and 980 are almost tied but the 390x is a tad bit better.

You can get a 980Ti at this price now, 980Ti/980/970 prices are dropping ever since the Pascal count down

I meant the 500-600 range the OP mentioned, you can get it for 530 though (the AMP! is on a huge discount in Newegg).

530 for the 980ti in an amazing price. If you're comfortable spending that amount, you should go for it OP

We don't know how well Pascal will turn out though its only two days, but by then the discount might be gone. So, it's kinda of a paradox.

Personally I would wait to see what is Nvidia up to after tomorrow. It might be a good card that you can get, but it might also be something not so great or something mobile. It's a hard decision.

UK retailers are oblivious to the potential recent event by Nvidia.

Only cards that seem to be dropping in price are the 980s, seen a few for under £400 now. 960s and 970s seem to be going up and 980Ti's just do whatever they feel like. (I bought my 960 in November for £155, the same card is £190 now :/ My friends MSI 980Ti cost him £510, its now £570 I believe.)
