How to connect two monitors to one PC

ShayMaster [PC Noob]

Hey all I haven't built my PC but when I do I would like to connect two monitors to it to play my games over two monitors, you know when the games are stretched over two monitors? Yeah that. How would I go about doing that? I'm planning on having a AMD R9 390 for my GPU. I heard that to connect two monitors you need something to do with the GPU. Also does having two monitor reduce frame rates / fps?

just simply plug both cable to the GPU, and set the Resolution on Windows, and yes More Pixel = More Process

I'm sorry I'm a noob, I didn't understand a word. ??

When you plug the monitor in it should natively pick it up.
If it doesn't go into your resolution settings and you may have to assign the monitor.

You just connect them

you do not want to play games across 2 monitors, its either 1 or 3 for best experience

(personally I hate gaming across more than one monitor, but 2 monitors are useful for productivity)

The more monitors, the harder it is for your computer to render the game, eg, 2 screens are twice as hard to run as 1 screen as it has to render the game twice

There will be 2 bezels in the middle of the screen

shooters would be impossible and other games would look ugly

Yeah, that makes more sense, I'd prolly use the second monitor for other stuff. Since I'm not gonna use it for gaming, I just plug the monitor in and it should work?

@ShadowCaptain so if I just plug the second monitor in, it should automatically work? I'll be able to move my mice from one monitor to the other with no problem? Or is there something else I need to do?

you can check the resolution settings in windows and choose which monitor is on which side etc

When you have 2 monitors you have to tell the computer which monitor is on the "left" or "right" so that when you move the mouse across it goes the right way
