Is it worth getting Malwarebytes Premium?

So I've been using malwarebytes free version for some time. I was wondering if its worth paying £20 for a year. Anyone have good experiences with it? How good is it?

Just like with a lot of firewalls, the paid version gives you more of a active defence, instead of just a maleware/virus removal tool

Aka prevents the maleware to even get there in the first place

If you already have a paid firewall, it should already do the same thing, except auto updating maleware bytes

I'm only using Malwarebtyes and nothing else. I don't think Windows Defender does a good-ish job(?)

Maybe it's not good practice but until I run into an issue which I haven't yet, maybe then I'd think about going above the free version. But, so far, it's done a pretty snazzy job.

What does Malwarebytes have to do with firewalls?

OP, If you run regular scans with it yourself, I don't see a point of upgrading.

If computers have no doors or fences, who needs Windows and Gates?

Well one reason why I thinking of getting it, my sister. She uses my PC as well. She plays games and all that.

What does Malwarebytes have to do with firewalls?

Realtime protection, Blocks acces from dangerous sites, and stopping maleware from starting (premium features), which is something almost all paid firewalls has, although does this to viruses and (maybe most) maleware

Then sure, you can go one of two routes:
Limit her access
Pay for more security.
If someone else had access to my PC I would increase my security. I trust myself, but someone else? Eh.

depends on what you are planning on doing, although almost all viruses and maleware are being designed to pass through the windows firewall since its the standard, you should still be fine if the virus has excisted for a week or so probably

Here is a good comparison

Firewalls are a network thing. They protect a private network from outside access and allow you to manage what can access your network.
Don't you mean most anti virus software?

Just get Adblock so she can't click on ads that give you viruses

Yeah, thats what i meant, since anti virus software generally focuses on firewalls thats what i often call them

Anti virus software focuses on fighting viruses. They sometimes offer a firewall in addition to this.

I meant in advertisements (atleast the few ones ive seen). Free anti virus suftware sure, but pretty much every paid anti-virus ive used has included a firewall, and the only one ive seen which doesnt is F-secure.

Also, the word firewall to describe a anti virus program is common on a lot of places, so i guess that it has also carried over to me
