Windows 8? 10 does give you maybe 3-5 more fps...on all my games anyway...

Also will you overclock?

Please vote for Donald Trump. I am out of sitcoms to watch.

I already have a copy of win 8 so figured i would just use that and if needed i can use the upgrade feature to windows 10.

I plan on doing some mild overclocking nothing to crazy

For gaming there is not much of a point to get the i7, get the i5 and a better graphic card like the R9 390.

Get a better power supply:

Consider windows 10 for DX 12.

But with a R7 260X, that's really pushing it. It's better to get the i5 and a better card.

You are getting paid next WEEK? Why bother buying a cheaper GPU for one week? Wait it out and get a better one...When I was younger, i waited 3 months saving up for the damn thing....

Okay then (You can mark items as purchased in pcpartpicker by the way just click at the settings button near buy). What is your budget for a GPU by the pay day?

CPU and Motherboard: If all you're doing is mild overclocking, then buying an unlocked CPU isn't worth it. You'll waste more money on that, a Z170 motherboard (who knows if you'll use all the doodads of a Z170 board), and faster memory. Save your money, and get an i7-6700, an H110 board and a 2133MHz memory.

GPU: When you get your money, go for the R9 390. Preferably Sapphire models. :)

PSU: Poor quality PSU for an expensive build. Refer to these lists for picking an appropriate PSU. And 500W is more than enough.

Everything else is fine. ;)

I wasn't wrong. It's extremely rare that I am. I provided sources as well. Different devs can disagree. Further, we now have confirmed discrepancy from Twitter about he use of the pre-release 1080 driver in AMD's demo despite the release 1080 driver having been out a week prior.

You apparently haven't seen his responses to questions on YouTube. He is very condescending and aggressive in his comments with which there is little justification. He acts totally different in his videos. I don't necessarily care for this content style and there is nothing really unique about him or his channel. His endless dick jokes and toilet humor are annoying as well.

Frakin A, chuck that 7200 RPM to an external backup only role. Get some sexy Samsung NVMe 128/256/512gb for your MSI board. I know it supports straight to PCI with no bottlenecking.

Here, take your pick of NVMe. Get in where ya dollar lets ya lol.

Just an afterthought- the M.2 is yet another medium to stick PC data thingys together to talky. Is tiny and fits parallel to the board right in the slot between your CPU and RAM, over the MSI letters on your board. You musta seen em by now but just in case. :) Yay you
