Posted May 2, 2016 My headset has a crack in its plastic framing and I'm wondering what the best way would be ot fix it? Pictures of the crack are down below. I don't have a lot of money to spend so a nice home-DIY solution would be nice! If anyone is interested it's a Roccat Kave true 5.1 surround sound headset, the first edition, so it's pretty old but I love it to depth so I really want to fix it. As you can see in the picture everything still works, you just can't wear it. Thanks in advance, That13thGuy 01110101 01101100 01100100 00100000 01100100 01101111 00100000 01110011 01110101 01100011 01101000 00100000 01100001 00100000 01110100 01101000 01101001 01101110 01100111 00101110 00101110 00101110 00100000 01010111 01100101 01101100 01101100 00100000 01101000 01100101 01110010 01100101 00100000 01101000 01100001 01110110 01100101 00100000 01100001 00100000 01100010 01101001 01101110 01100001 01110010 01111001 00100000 01100011 01101111 01101111 01101011 01101001 01100101 00100001 Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/590330-fix-broke-plastic-headset/ Share on other sites
 I rly should draw it for you edit.. bolt and nut, not screw sry forgot about that Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/590330-fix-broke-plastic-headset/#findComment-7683724 Share on other sites
 It's basically clay that hardens into some form of plastic, it's really cool. Here's a link: https://sugru.com/about . Posted May 2, 2016 Uhh try jet glue. It won't hold forever, but you may get a week or so out of it. If super-glue had a super-glue above it, it would be jet glue. Posted May 2, 2016 Maybe you should try melting the plastic in that area and just push those 2 pieces together hoping they will become 1 solid piece. Posted May 2, 2016 You could try some plastic 'welding'. Not sure what plastic the headset is made of but odds are with a heatgun and some PLA you could make this work. http://f4.network/ http://www.regaleaglerobotics.com/ Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/590330-fix-broke-plastic-headset/#findComment-7684080 Share on other sites
