Is it true that putting Vegemite on your ears will stop drop bears from attacking you?

Is it true that putting Vegemite on your ears will stop drop bears from attacking you?

 

Well actually, that is a common misconception as only the southern Drop Bears are repelled by the Vegemite as they are more timid. I myself being a northern Drop Bear have been raised on local goods such as rum and are therefore more aggressive. Good question though!

The best way is to show me something shiny as I am very easily distracted.
