Crucial BX200- Kingston HyperX Fury - OCZ Trion 150 - SanDisk SSDPlus

what would be the best choice for under 70€? (In Italy the 240gigs are under 70€ for these models) if they're all quite the same I think I'll go HyperX, as I already have a 120GB model in my desktop and I'm fine with that

Kingston is a AMAZING company, its what I'm currently using.  But SanDisk is now backed by WesternDigital, and is typically cheaper.

As far as I'm concerned if money is ever a concern I'm probably going to pick SanDisk.  If I'm not worried about money, then I'm probably going to lean towards Kingston.

IF YOU'RE GOING TO GET RAM:  Please double check what your notebook is capable of.  If it only supports 1600mhz RAM at CL11 speeds, then don't bother getting better RAM, you'll waste the performance.  Look on AMDs website and see what the CPU can handle.

Laptop is a Lenovo z50-75 (Model 80EC). The FX-7500 kinda suck but idc that much, I'm not gaming on this thing. I already scavenged 2 gigs of ram from my dad's dead Zenbook UX32 (mobo went FUBAR), so I'm at 10 gigs total.

I'd like to know what would be the next upgrade I should do: switch to SSD (idc about the performance of an 850 evo, so I can live with a Crucial, a Kingston or Sandisk), change ram (something like 8 or 16 gigs of a better clocked ram) or both?

Or maybe sell this crap and buy something better? (can't spend more than 100€, I'm saving for other stuff and maybe Zen for the desktop. yeah, I'm just a student, not much of an income)

Again, no gaming on this piece of junk. Programming, browsing, virtualbox stuff, and maybe sometimes photo editing (even tho the screen really sucks. color banding everywhere)

Computer Case: NZXT S340 || CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 || Cooler: CM Hyper212 Evo || MoBo: MSI B350 Mortar || RAM Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3200MHz || PSU: Corsair CX600 || SSD: HyperX Fury 120GB & 240GB || HDD: WD Blue 1TB + 1TB 2.5'' backup drive || GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 4GB

Laptop 1 HP x360 13-u113nl

Laptop Lenovo z50-75 with AMD FX-7500 || OS: Windows 10 / Ubuntu 17.04

DSLR Nikon D5300 w/ 18-105mm lens

The FX-7500p is a great mobile processor (especially considering its video capabilities) for its price range.

It with 16GB of high clocked RAM and a SSD would be amazing.  But if I got to choose I'd pick the RAM over the SSD for $100, simply because it will actually give you a performance increase.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

For a 7500 to improve its performance definitely buy a kit of RAM above 8GB that's in as high speed as you can find. That impacts the video performance greatly on AMD mobile chips. An SSD is quite a worthy upgrade to make you fly about your operating system as well. Any SSD from a trusted brand (you seemed to list some good ones) that's in decent capacity (256GB or higher) would also be worth it.

HP x360 14, Core Ultra 5, 16GB

DDR3L-1600 vs DDR3-1866?

I could also keep the 1TB hdd as an external drive. I could do this with a 60€ ssd (120GB tho) + 40€ Crucial ram. sounds good to me

You'll notice a 6-8% performance increase overall with the RAM upgrade.  Although, if you can get a SSD, do it!

Sandisk SSDPlus and HyperX Fury (both 240GB) are both at 66/67€, so I think I'll go kingston for the ssd.

CPU memory controller should be for DDR3-1600, so I'll save some cash for those sticks.

Thanks for helping!
