No problems :)

If you find it cheaper, the XFX TS 550W is also a SeaSonic unit (Avoid the XFX XT series tho). Antec High Current Gamer is also a fantastic unit - it's a SeaSonic M12II EVO design.

Yes, it is.

As for the GPU, Avoid Asus and Gigabyte for AMD cards - pathetic coolers. Also, go for a 4GB 380 for future VRAM-hungry games. You can also get an i3 Haswell and reuse your old RAM

I found Asus Strix 2GB version a lot cheaper than other ones. Same price has XFX version but i think Asus might be better.. Also i don't have enough money to go for 4GB version so yeah.. Currently i'm running DDR2 RAM so i can't save it for any new build so i think i'm better with skylake i3 :) Thanks a lot for your help

The XFX 380 is a LOT better than the Strix - it runs cooler, quieter, has a better vBIOS, better customer support from XFX (Asus are REALLY bad with this - look at my sig)

I had  the i3 4160 with my 970, and gaming was great. I had to turn down some cpu intensive setting in some games, like FO4, but gameplay was great.

GTX 970>R9 380 so yeah,i3 will be enough for sure :) Thanks buddy

Will http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=100-W1-0500-KR be enough? XFX version has 2 6-pin connectors and Asus one has 1 8-pin connector. Sorry maybe i'm wrong but to be honest this will be my first build.. Is this PSU enough for each XFX and Asus?

That card doesn't use a lot of power but the quality of the EVGA W1 PSUs is bloody terrible. I wouldn't even dare use them for a basic system. Go for a SeaSonic S12II 520W for a very solid and reliable PSU

Alright i'm okay with that PSU. I see you also have SeaSonic so i would know is it quiet? I wanted to go with Corsair PSU but i saw it sometimes has cooling problems and also someone said EVGA would be better than Corsair. Until now i didn't even know about SeaSonic and now i see it has good reviews by users.

SeaSonic are the oldest and most trusted PSU manufacturer - they make over half the market's PSUs (most firms like Corsair only rebrand PSUs and don't actually make them whereas SeaSonic, Delta, Super Flower make their own (Delta are usually sold as Antec).

S12G is a higher tier PSU though yes, mine has a FDB bearing and thus runs basically whisper-quiet under max load on my system. S12II is noisier but it's also better built than any other PSU in that price category.

I must be a lucky duck. I've got two W1's installed, one in my wife's OC'ed G3258 rig and one in my i3 HTPC that's on 100% of the time. Granted, those aren't the most demanding setups (and I'd have shelled out for more if they were), but I've had no complaints to date. Knock on wood, I suppose.

No, it's not. I went through two of them. The first was exchanged because the fan bearing went out in a week. The second, well, hah, the second...

Something went awry internally and it failed, taking out my motherboard and CPU in the process. I held on to the PSU in case I ever got the chance to test it again, and I did in a throwaway PC that we were getting rid of anyway. Hooked it up, plugged it in, powered it up, and it did the same thing: full power to all the things, no POST, shutdown, lather, rinse, repeat. I yanked it and put the original PSU back in, and the PC that had been rock solid stable (not OC'ed at all) minutes before was, within an hour of normal use, crashing, freezing, and generally unstable to the point of being unusable. All that changed is that I switched it from a stock HP PSU to the HCG 750. Even if the HCG as a whole is a fine unit, something was horribly wrong with the two I got, which is more than enough for me to never use or recommend Antec PSUs again.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

W1s are cheap HEC units designed for very light use.

Antec HCG are generally good units - you probably got a defective one which, while a very bad experience, happens to even the best companies every once and again. You got VERY unlucky and I am sorry for that :/ - It also depends on which platform revision - the original M12IIs had a bit of issues with DOAs so the EVO serie happened shortly after and fixed it. (fan bearing was also altered)
