Cherry MX Red Replacement?

Go to solution Solved by Goldensapling,

Update on this in case anyone is lurking, I desoldered my sticky key and my Windows key and switched them around. Now I have a sticky Windows key. But who cares honestly :P

So basically, I'm an idiot and spilled Green Nectar of the Gods on my Corsair K65 RGB, and now I need to replace a couple of the switches. They're Cherry MX Reds. I know it needs to be soldered and shit, but where can I find switches? Also, as far as I know, I just need a clear switch for the RGB to shine through, right?

EDIT : Would it be possible to just pop out the keys and replace them with other keys (windows key and shit) to repair them?

I'm a fucking AMD kawaii weeaboo desu I have seen the light

Cant you pull off the keycap then remove the top half of the housing and swap the guts? ive seen people do this with cherry switches or is the metal plate in the way on teh Corsair keyboards.

The plate is in the way. Desoldering is necessary.

You Can not buy mx rgb's anywhere

You could fix it with non rgbs but then no backlight on the keys.
