CoolerMaster 212 evo vs. 412S

Sup, this is my first thread here, yay!

Well anyway, I'm pretty sure this has been asked around a million times but my case is a bit different.

My H60 pump (the old one) is failing and i only have ~30€ to spend on a cooler. The 212evo is 34€ and the 412s is 31€ in my area.

With that said, I have a 2 corsair SP120 quiet in push-pull so I will obviously use this fans for my new heatsink. All the reviews I've seen about the 412s only use the slim 10mm included fan but my Corsair 200R has enough space for the SP120s. My ram is low profile so that's not a problem for me.

Other system info is a delided 3570k and MX-4 thermal paste both on the die and the IHS. My room temps go from 17ºC to 28ºC

So my question is, should I get the thicker, less dense fin 412s or the thinner, more dense fin 212 evo? I initially though about the 412s but i'm not quite sure.

PD: Sorry if my english is not the best.

Personal experience of owning a 212, vs reading comparative reviews of the 412

Much the same, 3*c difference TOPS.

Comparative using my overclocked settings identical to a reviews overclocked settings (altho obviously not identical locations so ambient temps may have been slightly different)

Unless someone else has a different experience..

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Get the thicker 212, its the fans that your using that will bring the rain!

Good performing fans... No matter which you choose it will be fine, but the 212 would be cooler.
