ps/2 and usb on mobo - noob question

i havent looked at computers in a while and i notice alot of new high end mobo's dont have a ps/2 connector. this is probably a noob question but what happens if i get a mobo without a ps/2 and i end up in a situation where the USB drivers wont work ? how do i use a keyboard and mouse if this happens ? videos that explain are welcome also .

what about before windows ? like for changing bios settings ? when i first learned about computers i think that was the issue before installing drivers. we needed a ps/2 connected keyboard to set up the pc before we installed windows. thats the part im worried about . what if something goes wrong and i need to press and f button to initiate the windows installation . ive had to do that before and the USB keyboards werent working. thank god i had a ps2 on the mobo but what if i dont ?

Get multiple different keyboards. At least one should always work with the default drivers bios has. (i never had a keyboard that would not work in bios)

Fun fact: i have 12 different usb keyboards.
