A place to get cheap/free older computers in the Adelaide Metro Area

Hi.

 

I am a big nerd and am getting into older computers, mainly from early Pentium up to Pentium 4 systems.

 

My only nightmare is that no stores near where I live have older computers real cheap.

 

I am wondering if any stores exist like this near where I live.

 

I live in the Adelaide Metro Area of South Australia.

I'm from europe but have you tried ebay?

As far as I know there are no stores around me but ebay has tons of old PC stuff

I will try eBay, I've just had bad experiences with it because a lot of it is pickup only from places like Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane etc. but thanks, will check it out.

Best Bet is to go to your local scrap place, I'm sure you'll find tons of OLD PCs there.

I will try that as often as possible but I am still a teenager and my parents pretty much control what I do (ughhhhh). I should be able to do it a fair bit though.

Oh. Well when you have the chance, go for it. I went to my local scrap place and found a PC. It had a core 2 quad 6600, 8GB ram. 250GB HDD with a GTX 280. The owner dumped the PC because the problem was the PSU. I changed the PSU and it started working.
